We worked with Frank on the set of Hellcat and Tala, an independant film by Gary Schultz. During the shooting of the film Frank approached us to produce his headshots, about a week later we did just that.
We sat down with Frank for a little Q&A, to learn all about him, and get a inside view of his life.

Q: What got you into acting. And what are your long-term goals.
A: Well I saw a show at second city when I was 24 and was struck with the need to try and improvise, which I did the following week and I’ve yet to stop acting. Goals, um...to continue to work and play interesting characters.
Q. What all are you working on now? And are you excited for any upcoming projects?
A: I just finished a short film called "fresh cut", which was directed by Alex Rojas (director of "Tripp"), which will be showing at the Chicago underground film festival OCT. 30th at 9:15pm. I am in between gigs, but I am looking forward to working with Malik Bader (the director of "Street Thief") on a follow up film.
Q: So you live in Michigan, Have you lived there long? Are you? Planning to move to Hollywood?
A: I have lived here for about 2 years. I started acting here in Detroit about eight years ago, moved to Chicago then to L.A. and through the grace of god via children wound up back here. I am stationary for the time being, but I never rule out anything.
Q: whose Your Favorite actor/Actress? Who Inspires You?
A: Favorite actor is difficult, I have a few, favorite actress would have to be Holly Hunter, with Naomi Watts at a close second she can tear the screen apart. Who inspires me, my daughters, Barack Obama & that guy who runs the marathons with his son in the wheelchair, I cant think of his name right now but he is unbelievably inspiring.
Q: Does Your Family Influence your work?
A: Of course. My wife Jen and my 2 daughters Lill & Annie influence who I am and how I approach the world, which is a direct influence on everything I do.
Q: How did you meet your wife? How old are your kids?
A: I was doing a show at 2nd city in Detroit and after the show we would bring audience members up on stage and play improve games, Jen was one of the audience attendants brought up. I snuck into every game she was a part of and that began the chase, which is still incredibly enjoyable and rewarding. My eldest Lill is 3 and my youngest Annie will be 1 in Dec.
Q: How did we meet? And why did you want me to do take your headshots?
A: On the eerie set of "Hellcat & Tala", Dark Heart Studios was doing the still shots and I was trying not to freeze my ass of in the meat locker that Gary Schultz called "the set". You guys were great to get along with and a blast to work with. I thought the shots you took on set were impressive, so it was a no-brainer for me to ask you to do my headshots, which are great by the way, thank you.
Q: Did you Enjoy the Hellcat Role?
A: It was a dream come true. I love working with Gary, the writer/director. And I have always been fascinated with and wanted to be (for a small stint, mind you) a vampire.
Q: Any Random Things You’d Like to tell us?
A: Cats do not necessarily always land on their feet; it is proximity to the ground and body alignment from the fall.
Q: Are you checking me out?
A: Of course I'm checking you out, you are photographer which makes you incredibly sexy to me because you offer something to the world which I can' not give, frank zieger standing still.
Thanks Alot Frank, Great to see you.
